Please note: Due to the current game I am working on the team with being unreleased I am limited in what designs I can show.

My Role

‘Who Do Voodoo’ is a card-based social deduction game for up to 16 players. Collect items, craft a wide variety of cards to deceive, protect, or prank. Be Good or be Bad. Trust no one, and play your stitched-up role to survive.

My role with Kuixo is a UX Design / Research consultant. I was brought onto the team to help with their new game ‘Who Do Voodoo’ I am an avid gamer in my free time and have been playing games since I was a very young child so this opportunity has been something I have been so excited to undertake.

I am responsible for English copywriting for dialogue, menu’s, instructions and all other in game content with written dialogue. As the team is based in Turkey I help them with translating to English in a way that feels natural and also gets across the tone of the game correctly.

I conduct, host and take part in user testing sessions that focus on the overall experience of the game. This includes how easy it is to understand, any errors or confusing aspects and improvements to make it more enjoyable. This research is then passed back to the team who implement and make changes as appropriate.

I am also responsible for helping with the overall experience of the game. This includes menu’s, layout of items, controls, visuals and more. I collaborate with the whole team in Turkey to help improve the experience.

Right now the team is getting the game ready for Beta and creating a demo which will be the first showcase of this game. I am unable to share any designs ‘just yet :)’ But we would love if you would check the game out on Steam here.
